Mobile Grooming Policies, Procedures & Consent for Services
Thank you for choosing Naked Paw Grooming! Our goal is to provide safe, stress-free, and professional grooming services for your pet in the comfort of your own driveway. Please review the following policies and procedures carefully. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to the terms below.
1. Appointments & Scheduling
• We kindly ask all clients to keep a card on file to secure their mobile grooming appointments.
• You will receive an itemized invoice after each service, and your card will be charged within two business days.
• Appointments are confirmed via text or email prior to your scheduled date.
• If you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee.
2. Safety & Handling
• Your pet’s safety and comfort are our top priorities.
• Please provide proper equipment—a leash and collar for dogs or a secure carrier for cats and small pets.
• You may also bring your pet to and from the van if you prefer—just let your groomer know.
• In rare cases where grooming cannot be safely completed due to behavior or health issues, a minimum $20 handling fee may apply.
3. Grooming Schedule
• We consider your pets part of our Naked Paw family! Regular grooming every 4–6 weeks helps maintain their coat, comfort, and overall well-being.
• Consistent grooming also helps your pet become more familiar and relaxed with the process.
4. Dematting Policy
• Mats can be painful and harmful to your pet’s skin. We use gentle, safe techniques to remove them.
• Each grooming package includes up to 15 minutes of brushing and dematting.
• If mats are too severe to remove humanely, we may recommend shaving the affected areas or, in extreme cases, veterinary care.
5. Pricing
• All prices listed are starting rates. Additional charges may apply depending on your pet’s size, coat condition, or special handling needs.
6. Payment & Gratuity
• Payment is processed automatically within two business days of service.
• During this time, you may ask questions or add gratuity before the card is charged.
• A receipt will be sent once payment is completed.
7. Health & Behavior
• Please inform your groomer of any medical conditions, allergies, or behavioral concerns prior to the appointment.
• We reserve the right to refuse service if grooming may pose a risk to your pet’s health or safety.
8. Consent & Agreement
By confirming your appointment , I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to the above policies and procedures. I authorize Naked Paw Grooming to perform grooming services on my pet and charge the card on file for services rendered.
